Scientifically Formulated, Thermally Composted Soil Enrichment

Mike’s Magic Compost feeds your soil with premium, on-farm thermally aerobic compost crafted right in Uxbridge, ON. We combine organic horse manure and stable bedding (soft-wood shavings and pellets) with spent beer mash from our own microbrewery, Muddy York in Stouffville, optimizing the carbon-to-nitrogen (C:N) ratio for maximum soil life.

Every batch is thermally directed, temperature-monitored, and backed by subsequent microbial and chemical analyses to guarantee quality.

Classic M3 Compost

The All-Around Soil Builder & Protective Mulch

Best For: Top-dressing beds, tree/shrub bases, and long-term soil conditioning.

How It Works: Built with organic horse manure and soft-wood shavings/pellets. When top-dressed, it creates a protective, woody mulch layer that locks in moisture, reduces erosion, regulates plant temperature, and boosts long-term soil structure and aeration.

Best For: Vegetable beds, seed starting, lawn top-dressing, and mixing directly into garden soil.

How It Works: We take our thermally composted Classic M3 and finely screen out residual wood shavings, leaving behind a smooth, nutrient-dense soil amendment that integrates effortlessly into your garden.

How to Get Your Compost

OPTION 1: Self-Serve Bagged Pickup

Stop by The Horse Barn at Hop Hill Stables daily from 9:00am – 2:00pm (no appointment needed). We supply the bags, all you need to do is fill them up!

OPTION 2: Bulk Pickup

Bulk pick up is by appointment only, please contact us using the form below to schedule a pickup window at Hop Hill Stables so we can load your truck or trailer efficiently.

OPTION 3: Flat-Rate Local Delivery

Use the form below to book your delivery date – $100 flat rate for up to 5 yards within 20 km of Uxbridge, ON (extended local delivery areas considered for larger bulk orders).
